About this policy

Yuppie Plaza (www.yuppieplaza.com) is run from the United States by the Yuppie Plaza Editorial Team. This page explains what personal information the site touches and what you can do about it. It covers only the practices that are real today. If you have a privacy question, email privacy@yuppieplaza.com.

What the site collects

Yuppie Plaza sells nothing, has no user accounts, offers no paid memberships and has no newsletter, so there are no passwords or payment details to collect. Comments are switched off everywhere. The information that does exist falls into three groups:

  • Server logs: the web host records standard details, including your IP address, your browser type and which pages you request.
  • Messages you send: if you use the contact form, your message goes by email to our editorial inbox, and we do not put the form data to any other use.
  • Search performance data: Google Search Console shows us how the site appears in Google Search. It places no cookies on your browser.

There are no display ads on the site at the moment, and the site does not set analytics cookies itself.

Purpose and retention

Logs exist to protect the site and to find the cause of technical problems. Email lets us read your question and reply. Search Console helps us see which pages show up in search results. We hold onto this information for only as long as those reasons last, or as long as the host’s usual logging routines keep it, and we do not build profiles of readers.

Cookies and affiliate links

We set no analytics cookies. Affiliate links work differently: after you click one, the store or network may place its own cookie to credit the referral. Our affiliate network is Amazon, and Amazon’s own privacy policy governs what it collects. We cannot control that, so read it if you want details. Your browser also lets you block or clear cookies. More on the links themselves is on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Links to other sites

Many articles send readers to stores and other outside websites. When you follow one, you are subject to that site’s policies, not this one.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly gather information about them. A parent or guardian who thinks a child has contacted us can write to the privacy address above, and we will remove the message.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live in the United States, state law may let you ask what personal information a business holds about you or ask that it be deleted. To make a request, email privacy@yuppieplaza.com. We hold very little, and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do, which may include limits tied to logs held by our host.

Security

We depend on the web host’s standard safeguards to protect the site and its logs. Nothing online is entirely secure, and we make no promise of perfect protection.

Policy updates

When our practices change, we will edit this page and change the date at the top. You may also want to read our Terms of Service or visit Contact Us.
